The Estepona Town Hall has announced plans to develop around 15 new free parking spaces adjacent to the bus station, taking advantage of a currently unused hillside area.

The initial phase of the project involves removing the existing slope to create the necessary space for the new parking spots. Following this, curbs will be installed, the ground will be enhanced and prepared, and the entire area will be paved.

The project will cover approximately 300 square meters, which will be fully prepared and surfaced, thereby improving both the area’s conditions and its integration with the surrounding environment of the bus station. Additionally, recent repairs have been made to the pavement on Avenida Jesús de Polanco, ensuring a safer and more comfortable experience for drivers and users of this road.

This initiative is part of the Town Hall’s ongoing efforts to create more free parking spaces and enhance public areas, ultimately improving mobility and parking availability for residents and visitors. This latest development complements other measures aimed at expanding parking facilities in various locations throughout the city. Specifically, in the Sierra Estepona area, the reorganization of streets such as Alejo Carpentier, Pilar Bardem, and Miguel Clavijo will result in an additional 98 parking spaces.
