The Estepona Town Hall recently hosted Tourist Day to express gratitude to visitors who chose the city for their vacations once again this year.

The festivities began at 9:00 AM along the Paseo Marítimo with a complimentary yoga session accompanied by live flamenco guitar music. This initiative reflects the town’s commitment to promoting well-being and a healthy lifestyle.

Later in the day, Pedro Javier Rodríguez Pérez and Paula Medina Denja were honored as the ‘Tourists of Honor 2026’ in recognition of their longstanding connection to Estepona.

Following this, the festival queens and ladies participated in the traditional distribution of carnations to tourists as a symbolic gesture of appreciation. They visited popular areas such as Real and Terraza streets, Las Flores and Doctor Arce squares, and the Paseo Marítimo.

Additionally, the town hall set up an outdoor booth next to the Tourism Office in Plaza de las Flores, where brochures were distributed in various languages to showcase Estepona’s diverse cultural, sports, and leisure offerings.
