The National Police have dismantled a drug den in Estepona, located near the Orchid Park, where cocaine was distributed and consumed on the premises. Three men, aged 32, 47, and 63, have been arrested on suspicion of committing a public health offense.

This operation, named “Mayday,” was conducted by the UDYCO-Costa del Sol from the Estepona Police Station. It began after authorities received tips about drug dealing occurring in a property close to the Orchid Park.

Undercover officers monitored the situation and observed a steady stream of individuals entering and exiting the apartment to purchase or consume drugs inside. During their investigation, police intercepted several buyers in the vicinity, prompting them to seek judicial approval for a search of the residence.

During the final search, investigators seized a significant amount of cocaine. According to police reports, this drug-selling point had created a sense of insecurity among local residents, becoming a hotspot for altercations and a site for exchanging stolen goods. People struggling with addiction were frequently seen in the area, seeking money to fund their habits.

This operation successfully closes one of the most active drug-selling locations in Estepona’s city center. Such actions bolster police presence in sensitive areas and respond to ongoing community concerns about small drug trade hubs that disrupt neighborhood harmony.
